West Coast Woman is the Sarasota/Bradenton area's longest running publication with women as its focus.

Here's our Editorial Calendar

West Coast Woman in Sarasota is a monthly publication on the west coast of Florida. We have been publishing since 1989 and cover the two-county area that includes Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Lakewood Ranch, Siesta Key, Longboat Key, St. Armands and Anna Maria Island. We are ad-supported so that means our publication is FREE and is located at over 600 quality locations from doctor's offices to fitness centers to health food stores. In addition, we are in newspaper boxes in prime locations such as post offices and busy streets.

Visually - West Coast Woman employs beautiful graphics with striking photography. Our publication is designed to make both edit and ads visually stunning. We take great care in how WCW looks and thus, your ad will never be placed with dozens of other, odd-shaped ads.  The paper we are printed on is a better grade of newsprint - unlike the faded paper you normally see of daily newspapers.

Content - WCW is a lifestyle publication. We have the creative freedom to cover a wide variety of topics including Travel, Books, Food & Wine, New Products, Education, Health, Fitness, Nutrition, Lifelong Learning, Cuisine/Cooking, Finances, Gardening, Technology and lots more.

The most popular feature in WCW is always the "West Coast Woman" herself - an interesting, dynamic women in this community whose talents we highlight in every issue. WCW has featured over 500 such women who inspire, motivate and empower with their careers and actions.

Every issue of WCW also has valuable information found in our calendars on the arts, local clubs and associations, health-related events and more. A column called "You're News" highlights and announces appointments, promotions, business news, nonprofit news and other reader-supported announcements.
